Our next project has been successfully completed. Following reconstruction, Prague's Pankrác C metro station has been reopened after undergoing extensive repairs and modifications during a year-long closure.
This mainly involved modernizing the lighting and other systems, preparing for the connection to the newly built Line D, repairing the sewerage and heating systems, and work related to the commissioning of public toilets in the vestibule. The work also included the installation of a new waterproofing layer on the station ceiling and a new elevator kiosk, designed in line with current architectural ideas about surface structures associated with metro operations. In the interior of the station and vestibule, modifications were made in line with the original architectural plans, involving the replacement of four escalator arms connecting the platform and vestibule.
The space of the vestibule and underpass of the Pankrác C station was connected by exits from the new underpass under Na Pankráci Street to the surface platforms of the previously commissioned tram line. The aforementioned underpass will be extended in the future and will connect both sides of Na Pankráci Street, the Pankrác C station vestibule, and the newly prepared vestibule under the existing Gemini administrative building.
