Today, 4 September 2026, at 12.00,  the construction of the Muzeum tram line was officially completed with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Jaromír Beránek, Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague for Transport, and other guests from the management of the city districts and the Prague Public Transport Company.

Well ahead of schedule, on 5 September 2026, tram services will resume on Škrétova and Vinohradská Streets, whilst the new tram line in the Muzejní oáza area – between the historic and new buildings of the National Museum, including the junction with Legerova Street – will be completed. In the near future, this section will enable trams to return to Wenceslas Square.

In addition to the tram line infrastructure, we also designed modifications to the main road’s surface and traffic light systems, which will enable tram and road traffic to intersect smoothly.
