On October 1st, 2025, tram service has returned to U Výstaviště Street. This is one part of a larger project of Dukelských hrdinů and U Výstaviště Streets reconstruction, where previous stages were already implemented in 2023 and 2024. This is not just a repair of the tram tracks, but a complete transformation of the public street space, with the most extensive modifications taking place in the recently completed phase, including the relocation (straightening) of the tram tracks and the addition of a separate northern lane for cyclists and cars.
Great emphasis was also put on the design of greenery. A new tree-lined avenue will be created along U Výstaviště Street, supported by a grassy tram lane. Following the recent putting into operation of the modernized section of the railway line between the Praha-Bubny station and the Praha-Výstaviště stop, this is the further contribution to the revitalization of the street and urban environment in Prague's Holešovice district. Metroprojekt provided complete project preparation for the reconstruction of U Výstaviště Street, including obtaining all necessary official permits.
