Our company became a Gold Partner of the 16th annual international conference “Underground Construction Prague 2026,” organized by the Czech Tunnelling Association ITA-AITES. The conference took place from May 25–27, 2026, in Prague at the Clarion Congress Hotel. This prestigious event, which ranks among the most significant tunneling conferences in the Czech Republic, regularly welcomes leading experts from Europe and around the world.
Our colleague Zdeněk Žižka delivered a presentation on the topic of Current Progress in the Preparation of the Střešovice Tunnel.
Zdeněk Žižka also organized, together with Karel Rössler from Metrostav, an open session focused on the design, construction, and operation of tunnels for high-speed rail lines. The open session was also organized in cooperation with the Správa Železnic High-Speed Rail Construction Administration, represented by Mr. Jiří Merta.
During the open session, practical experiences from major European projects were shared—ranging from geotechnical and hydrogeological risks through operation, safety, and maintenance of long tunnels to organizational and contractual models for construction. Experts from organizations such as ACCIONA, Amberg Engineering, FS Engineering, ILF, ÖBB-Infrastruktur, SYSTRA-Subterra, and Správa železnic participated in the panel discussion, along with a number of independent, internationally recognized experts.
Our colleague Jan Korejčík presented a paper at the conference on the topic of the Bílá Skála Tunnel exploratory adit on the Prague City Ring Road route.
