Charakteristika

The target of the project is to improve transportation services in the Prague region as part of an integrated transportation system, specifically through rail transport, with the aim of increasing both its capacity and competitiveness by incorporating the regional line from Kutná Hora Main Station – Zruč nad Sázavou to Kutná Hora Main Station without a turnaround, via a new realignment of part of the existing line in the section between Kutná Hora Main Station – Kutná Hora-Sedlec stop in accordance with Corridor D211 as defined in the Central Bohemian Region’s Regional Spatial Plan, including the electrification of the rail connection and enabling the passage of direct electric trains from Prague via Kolín and Kutná Hora Main Station all the way to the city of Kutná Hora.
