Modernization of the Railway line Soběslav - Doubí u Tábora
Charakteristika
The railway line Soběslav (outside) – Doubí u Tábora is almost completely led in a new track with a length of about 9 km along the D3 motorway. The new route is suitable for speeds of up to 200 km/h. The construction is of primary importance for long-distance transport relations in the Prague – České Budějovice section. After the completion of the overall modernization of the railway corridor in this section, the travel time (express) will drop to about 90 minutes, while before the start of work on the corridor the travel time of the fastest train was 145 minutes.
