The reconstruction of the historical seat of Czech Radio on Vinohradská street 12 was technically demanding. The integrated radio complex, bordered by streets Vinohradská, Balbínova and Římská, grew up here. Interventions made improperly in the 50-80ies suppressed its functionalist image. Therefore, the aim was to rehabilitate all the surviving elements and link them with current demands and user comfort. The new building facade, lobby and all reconstructive interventions were made according to contemporary photographs and plans of the architect Bohumil Sláma from the 30ies of the last century. Original functionalist architectural form was returned to Czech Radio.
